      For millions of anglers, tying flies is the next best thing to fishing. The fly tying world is a fast moving world with new tools and materials added every year. It’s 500 year since the publication of the first book witch contained a reference to fishing flies, “The Treatyse of Fysshynge with an angle” from Dame Juliana Berners. She would be amazed of what’s today available for the modern fly tier. Most of the materials would have been totally unknown for her, and they even changed very heavily the last 15 years. We at Fly Scene are trying to cope with this race of fast changes. We are fly fisherman but most of all fly tiers ourselves and we try to put only the best materials in our program. It’s impossible for a modern shop to have all these materials on stock so therefore this webpage, so a modern fly tier can see what we carry and if he finds the product he’s looking for he can easily order it from one of our sales points.
