XLV Fly Reel We have worked our butts off to do a new XLV fly reel family. These modern looking reels have a proper disc brake package, a real large-arbour desing and an EVA handle which provides a solid grip even in wet conditions. The family contains two designs: #3-4, #5-6 and #7-8 have a V-shape in the chassis. Heavier #8-9 model has the Vision heraldic shape. One family, two designs and 4 sizes. VLV34 weights 110 gram and holds a WF4F+ 60 meter of 20 lbs backing. VLV56 weights 120 gram and holds a WF6F+ 50 meter of 20 lbs backing. VLV78 weights 135 gram and holds a WF8F+ 150 meter of 20 lbs backing. VLV89 weights 160 gram and holds a WF9F+ 150 meter of 30 lbs backing. NEW BLACK COLOUR: the popular 5-6 and 7-8 size XLV reels are now also available in black. The black 7-8 has the heraldic V - frame like the bigger ones, making it stand out from the standard 7-8 even more.
