  1. These General Terms and Conditions apply to and constitute an element of any contract concluded between VDS Fly Fishing Tackle BV (hereinafter VDS) and the client as regards the provision of products and/or services. These General Terms and Conditions shall in all cases take precedence over the terms and conditions of the client and/ or third parties.
  2. Any proposed term of delivery is indicative only. In no case shall an exceedance of the term give entitlement to compensation.
  3. Goods ordered are transported at the client's risk. The client is also responsible for unloading and storing the delivery. On orders of less than €100, VDS charges the client an administration fee of €15.
  4. Complaints must reach VDS by registered letter within five days of the goods being delivered.
  5. The amount stated on the invoice must be paid into VDS's bank account at no cost to VDS, at the latest by the due date of the invoice in question. If payment is not received by the due date delay interest at a rate of 10% per annum shall be charged on the invoiced sum, by operation of law and without prior notice, from the invoice date to the date of payment in full. If payment is not made by the due date an amount of 10% shall be added to the invoiced sum, by operation of law and without prior notice, by way of fixed compensation, to a minimum of €50 and without affecting any other of VDS's rights. The submission of a complaint shall not release the client from the obligation to pay. Should the client cancel a contract or refuse to take delivery of goods or services ordered VDS shall be entitled to fixed compensation amounting to 30% of the total invoiced.
  6. Services and/or goods remain the property of VDS until the amount owing is paid into the VDS bank account in full. In the case of late payment VDS retains the right to collect the goods delivered; this entitlement to recover the goods shall remain in place even if the buyer is declared bankrupt.
  7. Does the product not meet your expectations or have you changed your mind? You can return a product or order within 14 days of receipt after contacting VDS via email or phone at orders@flyscene.be or by phone +32 15 225893. After obtaining your return number, you can return your purchase . You will have to pay the shipping costs for returning the items yourself. Products must be returned in their original packaging, labelled and complete. Returned items must be unused, clean and be able to be sold as new.
  8. These General Terms and Conditions and all contracts between VDS and the client are governed exclusively by the laws of Belgium. The Courts of the legal district of Mechelen shall have sole jurisdiction in the event of a dispute.
